Does this sound right?

Actually saw 13-14 psi. Go down the road turn around. Stepped on it in second. Rpms come up and suddenly like a whoosh sound and motor changes pitch and I hear a knock I hadn't really heard before. Motor acted like it had a dead hole for a couple seconds then smoothed out.

You and prolly others will think I'm crazy, but this sounds electrical to me. You stomp on it, causing the motor to torque in the mounts, aggravating a loose connection which either cuts your fuel pump, or FSS or both. Whoosh sound is heard as turbo spools down abruptly, motor torques back, connection re-made, back off to the races...

it will be good to drive it some more. it sucks only having one tank but I did it all the way to Michigan.

That's interesting.

I have not got the meter on it yet. I need to borrow a reamer to clearance the hole for the mag probe. I just won't fit and I've worked on it for a couple hours now with a 5/16 drill bit. I'll get it on there either tonight or over the weekend.

Sounded ok to me. These things are loud and noisy. I'd time it and see how it does. Maybe timing related fuel knock?

I hear maybe a click noise but nothing id be too worried about.
