Yet another ZF-5 question

Its the same all the way through until the end of the 7.3 psd in early 2003 isnt it?

^^ Sorry, meant the bellhousing bolt pattern. But your psd does have one, its what the starter is bolted to.

Then yeah, but there's something with the mounting depth.
Iirc, I can bolt up a ZF6, but can't do it on a idi.

At least through 97, yes. I think the ZF6 maybe is a different pattern? All the ZF5s are the same pattern - I have an s5-47 (later psd) on my truck and it fits just fine.

If I remember right, that isn't an adapter plate on the psd because the bolt pattern is the same on the block and the bellhousing. I could be wrong since it's been several years since I've been into a 7.3 psd.
