Another perfect truck, cept the auto-trans.....am I being overly concerned or stick to my guns and wait for a standard?

I really like the tommy lift I currently have and will transplant to the new-to-mine truck, unless the said truck already has one!

I think you should trade off the auto to get the tommy lift if that is important to you. You can always convert it to manual easy enough and that way you can get a ZF5.

Just saw that one too, perfect! Thank you! BUT!

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I cannot afford that one, at this time, hope it doesn't sell for a while.

Can't believe it, just my luck.......maybe a week or 2, hopefully I will have the runner of my choice.

Did go look at that truck....where do I start?

Well first it is as far as you can go down a dirt road way past Mt.Madonna state park here in lovely cali.

First clue on arrival, hood up, old falling apart charger near by hooked up to the pass batt.

looked under the hood to find a red electrical twist connector on the big wire to the alternator, lots of other connections remade under the hood and behind the drivers tire (outside) and what a mess under the dash!!!

Did not even begin to start, new can of starting fluid very close by. Amazing.....dropped the price $250.00!!!! WOW!!

Steel belts sticking out of both front tires, that truck would have a flat before it would make it off the hill! The back tires were not much better!

Needless to say, if you want a long drive through the mountains, go for it.
If you are looking for a good deal? not so much.

OBTW I ended up buying another truck, some of you might recognize it,
88 4x4 6.9 auto, 2 tone black over grey Wash plates and the spare holder from a van with no bumper

I'll be starting another thread when I figure out where to start.

needless to say I am very happy with the new member of the family.
