just got back in from measuring mine.....I can get it all in, all of it......except the second turbo....or I might leave the radiator out & keep the turbos....

hey fella's..... my father in Law has one that is steadily collecting dust and in dire need of a HOME! it's not as beautiful as those... but still a 3408! I know he'd take a whole lot less than that for it....

not to mention all the turbo's he's got laying around collecting more dust!

About 20 years ago there was a man in Moore, OK. who had a 3408 and a 10 speed in a 1980 one ton crew cab chevy. That sucker would haul.

A 3408 in a chevy or a 3208? I couldnt imagine a one ton truck being able to hold up to 2500 lbs of engine and 2000 ft lbs of torque. Nice engine though

Let's see....next month's food allowance: $100....minus $37 for engine....that leaves $63 to find bigger front springs....
