I agree, you're opening a can if worms here...but IMHO when comes to IDI's I love the 87-91 Bricknose. However, never liked the split Ex. Cab windows, but I've seen them converted to the OBS single window and it looks awesome. The 83-86 Slant/Bull nose trucks I've never been a fan of the interiors and as for the 92-94 OBS trucks everyone mistakes them for a Powerstroke. To each their own though, as long as you like it that's all that matters.
If its got an IDI it's cool in my book!

I like them all, but I'm relatively young on here. I was born in 1985. So, by the time I was old enough to really take notice the OBS Fords were a brand new item, I've always been partial to them. I think the 92-97 is the best looking Ford ever made, but you really are never going to end this debate. To each his own. I like every one of them.

I've owned all three.
They're all nice in their own ways.
OBS are all around great, bricks have a love or hate front end, best stock interior.
My fave is the slant nose. They have an older look to them. But they are definitely less refined in the interior - takes a little modernization to really make em shine.

i have an obs but my favorite to me is the brick nose, considering putting a brick nose front clip on mine, i like them with the windshield visors think it just gives it a mean look

I prefer the slant over a brick but like the 92 redesign for touch more modern look.

I have been doing some reading and it appears I may have the best stock IDI but I have no idea. Is the 2 year turbo a better product ? the reading I have been doing suggest the motor is a good bit better?

I think a 87-91 with the 80-86 nose grafted on with 92-97 rear windows (if its an extended cab) would be perfect. I don't like the grooves around the wheel wells on the 80-86 trucks, and the dash on the 87-91 trucks is the best. (OBS dash is not bad at all, just I think the brick is a little better)

No you are right, a Brick with a visor over the top of the cab is the most machismo for sure and raised up in 4x4 trim.

At the other end of the spectrum I was thinking last night a F 350 92 - 97 with drag slicks under the rear axle with a rounded tub for the rear wheels rather than the boxy stock tub and skinny front drag wheels on the front with the truck lowered like 10 or 12 inches with a race diesel under the hood would look KILLER for show.

The carbon ****'s will get you for fuel consumption however on a Brick with a Visor. Being machismo does not follow the code of the up and coming socialist dictatorship. The new cop cars in my town have a good bit of pink in the paint job and this is a college town so we know where they want to take our children. cookoo

IH put the 6.9 in the best looking truck... the 1600 quad cab. I'm a bit biased though
