It's amazinghow lucky things don't fall off. I went to do an oil change on my mom's car once, a 2003 Taurus, where the oil filter is up near the radiator. I reached down and bumped it with my oily thumb (from doing the drain) and the filter turned!! It wasn't tight in the least!! I guess the oil pump pressure kept it on? Or just pure luck. She had it done at a midas that last time.
I put a water pump on a friends Toyota Camry and it was horrible. Had to take the tire off. When putting the belt back on the tensioner has a hex head cast in it and that snapped off allowing me to hit the back of my head on my tool box lolNever turned a wrench on a Toyota, they trust that for a crank bolt?
