water seperator?

so school me on water seperators.. the new filter i have doesnt have the grey thing on the bottom? is that ok? and are there differant alternatives to a water seperation system or is this even an important systrem to have?

You should have a WS, even if you're buying good fuel I'm told it takes very little water to damage an IP.

You still may have a WS filter, is there a petcock on the bottom of it? Some of us opt to replace the leaky filter/***** separator with a all in one piece, might be what you have.

yes there apears to be a a little know at the bottom. like a drain. so this is the incorporated model?
