Waste oil in a Mechanicaly Injected 6.5

Ok so im kind of new to the idi world and i have a 93 6.5td with mechanical injection. And ive heard of people running waste oil through their diesels and i have quite a bit laying around like 20 gallons and i was wandering if i could run it through my truck? And yes i plan on filtering it out through a 5 micron filter and diluting it with a 35% oil 65%diesel mix.
