Wanted: Sterling 3.08 Gear

I know this will be next to impossible to find but I'm looking for a 3.08 gear for a 10.25 sterling rearend. Let me know if you have a lead on one.

I have casually looked for this 10.25" ratio for 20 years and no dice.

I think you'll do better finding a Dana 61 or 70 in 3.07. The D61 was an F250 diesel possibility from 82-85ish. The D70 is a 89-91 dodge diesel/auto ratio.

I dunno if something 3.21-3.33 range will work for you....

Apparently the 7-lug 10.25" used in the 98-03ish F250 could be had in 3.31.

There was also a 3.21 ratio for the Chevy 10.5" full-floater axle.

Thank you all for the replies. I'm going to work on running down these leads. Wonder if the 3.31 gear in the later 10.25 can be made to fit my 10.25? Possibly have found one in a local junk yard

I believe it to be the same internally.

I worked at a shop where we put an OBS 8lug FF trac-lok in the 7lug semi-floater. Both were 10.25" and late 90's.

I had several new sets of 3.08's up here in frozen (97 degrees) minnesota. sold the last set in sept 2021...if i find more , i will lit them....
