My transmission has been shifting very hard and late for the past couple of days. It's been happening every since my breaks got hard as a rock. I guessing my Vac pump is shot. My breaks were giving me problems since I've had my truck they would be hared then they would be soft or vice versa. But as of late the breaks hard. My C6 would shift nice and smooth until now, but it jerks realy hard when going into gear, and if I drop below 15 MPH it drops into first, never had the prob until the break issue. I need a Vac pump.

Well take on of the hoses off of the pump, I cant remember which one sucks air, and maybe you could see if it pulls any air in?

I would just confirm that you do not have a leak anywhere first. get a mightyvac and plug it in where the pump is and make sure the system holds vacuum... if not, diagnose the leak and then potentially the pump if symptoms persist.
