trying to drain my fuel tank....

The front tank does not need to be dropped to remove the sending unit. Just remove the electrical line and the two fuel lines and then hit the lock ring loose and its out. You have pelnty of room to work on it under the truck because its set on the angle side of the tank. Just get under there and look at it before you try to drop the tank.

not sure bout everyone else but i sure dont have room in there, got about 2 1/2 in. between it and the bed. i just dropped it with about 3/4 tank, pulled all the bolts with a stand under one side then bench pressed it, kicked out the stand and rolled out with it on my chest. i did drain it before putting it back up i woulda had a hernia!
