Hey guys my brother drives a 2001 4X4 F150 Supercrew, auto tranny, with the 5.4 in it. the truck is stock except for a k&n air filter and flowmaster muffler. it has about 97k on it and has never had tranny trouble. i changed the fluid once at 65k and was getting ready to change it again. today i drove it and noticed that it shifts wayy harder than usual when going from 1st to 2nd. from then on up it shifts just fine. i talked to a guy at a tranny shop and he said it could be a spring in the valve body. any ideas as to what could be wrong?? surely this couldnt be a spark plug misfiring and causing that to happen??
