haha! Im just scared if i run it and something is wrong with it I may just be doing more damage!

my attitude is....if I know all of the add-ons are working right and the only alternative is to pull the motor and go through it again, something is going to have to break to make it worth pulling!

Is it a steady stream of oil or puffs? If it is puffs then you have a ring problem if it is steady you have ring seating problems.

If it runs ok then get a road draft tube and rig a catch can lol. Container with 2 holes in the top with one hose from the oil fill and the other running out and too the ground.

There are alot of military engines w/ 40K and the rings were never seated. These detroits need to be worked to get them seated right. 500 miles to break in then flog that ******. Dont be scared if you built the engine right.

Yup, the compression ring is probably cracked. If you pull it apart it will need atleast reringed and honed. Gapless rings from perfect circle are highly recommended.
