tank size?

my fuel gauges dont work right on my truck so i ordered a sending unit from jc whittney for 76.56$ not bad price but i ordered it for a rear 19 gallon tank, can somebody tell me what size of tanks usually come under the 1986 ford f-250 4x4 custom trucks? thankyou maybe some way i can tell?

Could be 16 or 19 gallon but more then likely 19 gallon........

On my 89 rig they are 19.2 front and 17.4 rear....
