take apart door hinges

How do you get the hinge pins and bushings out of door hinges? I was thinking just grind the top off of the bushing but just making sure.

cut mine in the middle with a right angle die grinder and a cutting disc , then pulled them out each way up and down

you can use a chisel if you cut them in the middle, that prys them out enough that they pop out.

Can't do it much easier than that.

I ground the top or bottom (whichever was easier) then used the new door pin to beat it out. try not to take the hinges off the door or body. They are a real PITA to get lined up right again.
