Has been like this since i bought it. Any simple fix ideas?

Ive seen that on the newer tachs (90s) the circuit board on the back has some parts that run hot and the soldering goes bad, resoldering them tends to fix them but I've never done it to that one yet

Ok, ill slow 'er down a smidge! so soldering, eh? This shall be tried.

Resolder all the PCB connections, then test the sender with an ohmmeter. 2000-3000 ohms is a "good" reading. If none of that fixes it, scrap yard time! Probably pick up a new head for like $10.
