Why are my back studs longer than the front ones?

The back measured 2.25 inches while the front ones are 1.7 inches from the drum/rotor surface to the end of the studs.

The studs stick-out so far past the lug-nut that my 4-way lug wrench won't reach the nuts.

Boy, right as I clicked on this, I thought, god please don't let this be the refinery! :rotflmao :rotflmao

I noticed that as well, I guess I assumed it was to accomodate SRW/DRW with one stud part number.

All full floater axles use the same stud length, the longer ones are for dually trucks.

The factory lug wrench will fit, or use a regular deep socket.

Or if you really want to be able to use a 4-way, replace the original lugnuts with deep closed end nuts.

It is good to know that the lengths are normal, at least for the 6.9 forum.

I like the 4-way for breaking the lugs loose, but I keep a deep socket for the speed wrench and the torque wrench.

Thanks for the help!
