sound odd!

7.3 idi staryed to tick...or more like schyy schyy schyy from 1400rpm. But it have started ro sound from 12rpm now. And i think it sound like whom whom whom feom intake.
Trucks start fine. Went out to make a movie -15 degres celsius now heater and its just fired up.

Stat looking huff and chuff

Coild be bad valve or bad rocker or sprjng or....or ..or.. but likely one of the aformentioned izsues.

Leak down wont show a bad lifter bent pushrod or ....

Leak down and pull valve covers....

Tons on huff and chuff sounds out intake and exhaust.

Likely not something to ignore...do not ask how I know..

Yea i now...bit It vill show IF i ned to remove heads.
IF its not leak i check rocker and rods. I hope its stop with lifter.

Hows is that thump sound generate?

Compression bleeding back past valve while engine runs.

Turning over with starter doesnt invoke the same forcez on a valve a running engine sees so leakdown may not show this either if valves seal well enough.

Runnjng engine harmonics are way different than a cranking engine or non moving one.

I have rebilt à glowplug so i can take the aircomressor and blow air into the combustion chamber it should show somting..

the plan is to check if its leak...if it does i vill losen rocker arm on that cyl. if it a bent rod it should be tight. and the if a lifter is stack it would be tight.

Made one into a fittint to blow air into cyl i am guessing

i drilled out a old glow plugg and welved a compressor adapter to it. i will remove glowpluggs from engine and use my adapter in each cyl to se.
