Smelling tranny fluid.

changed my clutch and flywheel and also tranny fluid transfer case fluid. Now every so often when shifting threw the gears and at lower speeds I can smell transmission fluid, maybe getting hot. What might be happening here.

Did you fill the trans from the shifter hole?

Crawled under the other day when I smelled it felt hot to the touch. I filled from underneath.

Can't see one, watched the garage floor no drips nothing I'll look closely for one in a bit.

Just looked everything is dry. Could it have something to do with my engine being not timed yet maybe not working right with gear and revs.
