short search terms

the only thing i have problems with is searching for short terms (less than 4 letters??) then i have to revert to my mad google skills lol to search the forum. I know if i search for c6, db2, cam etc it tells me they were to short and ommited. Then i get to think of a different way to look for it or go to google. I know on a different forum that seems to use the same forum type you can search for terms as short as 2 symbols so i didnt know if that was possible here or not.

I just was going to start a thread on this but you beat me to it. It is really hard to search on this forum. A few terms that you cannot search:

D60
ZF5
oil
atf
fan
4X4
TPS
ATS 088
PTO
WMO
WVO

So tonight I wanted to search for "fan clutch" and I have to sift through 5 pages on how the zf5 clutch

Looking for info on a PTO for a ZF? forget it.

Members here love to use abbreviatons, which is great - less typing. but all bets are off when you go to search for them.

If it overloads the system to search for 1 letter words, is there a way to make exceptions and allow searching for common terms (ATF, IDI, etc)?
