Safe EGT limits of the six-o

Hey guys one of my best friends has a 2003 6.0, its all stock except for a straight 4" exhaust, we towed a 35 ft. fiver to utah and back last week and was wondering what was an acceptable EGT limit on these newer trucks? Thanks!
