Howdy Y'all,

I am the new owner of a 1997 Dodge 2500 with auto trans and 3.5 gears that has 180000 miles on it. I got a smowkin deal from the original owner that I could not pass up. I have done some research and I am quite familiar with its potential for just about anything. I have the complete documented repair history for the vehicle and, being a rookie, I have a few questions for the seasoned pros.

1. Are there any critical repairs that I should be looking for in the documentation other that the KDP?

2. Is 26 MPG highway normal?

3. What mods can I make without impacting this killer MPG?

4. Do you have any recommendations for a rookie in training?

Thanks for any and all input,

RIT

ya no joke don't touch it if it getting 26mpg. All I have to say is make sure the bands in the transmission are tight and if it shifts a little funny have it checked. Mine only gets 20 mpg and I want 26
