WOW is all I got to say. The starter was acting up on the truck, so I took it all apart and got new brushs, spun it on the lathe a few weeks ago to clean it all up. We had some problems getting the new brushs leads welded to the body so my buddy took it to work and did it up there. We put it back together with some new bearings and new grease last night. I stuck it in the truck this morning and WOW it spins over so fast now :hail
I think my total cost was under $30 for bearings brush holder and brushes. Well worth the $$

I rebuild the starter on 5 vehicles now including My 7.3l and for the last couple years they hold really well.

It always lasts longer than the cheap ones at the parts store, and it's a lot cheaper too. Only hard part for me is getting those bearings off.
