Rebuild heads or buy remanufactured ones

Anyone got an idea which may be the cheaper/better way to go. I'm trying to get prices on parts for a head rebuild, but as they add up, I'm wondering if it might be cheaper to just go for a set of reman ones.

Anyone got experience or opinions about which way to go, or a suggestion for a company who remans IDI heads?

Get a hold of diesel cast welding in Michigan and see if they have reman ones, I would trust thiers, I have used detroit heads from them for years.

I do the offshore stuff myself. $375/ea fully assembled is hard to beat on fleet duty trucks. haven't had a problem yet in roughly 7 years.
