RLDSL, how much did the rodney red cost you?



What kind of pusher fan setup are you running?

I can't rightly remember about the cost of teh rad, but I remember it wasnt; a dang sight much more than a stock rad from the dealer at the time I was shopping around
The fan, It's the stoutest 16" job that Derale makes

Just got my quote radiator only, no heat exchanger from RRed $650
plus a 3 week wait to build it.

This is the shocker. OEM from Ford is $1022 with my discount. Makes a pretty good arguement for getting the RR.

What is a good price on a modine and where do you get one? If it is comparably priced to the rodney red I think I will do that.

Dang, $1022!!! and I thought my local dealer was a friggen ******

Modine makes a good quality rad,construction wise, but the cooling doesn't come anywhere near what the RR will do.
If you are planning on keeping the truck and do any towing, get the RR, you won't be sorry.
