We are planning one of our family vacations to South Central Colorado in August to get away from the Texas heat. Will have 4 people in the Crew Cab plus gear and hauling a Ford Explorer on the 16' utility trailer.

My question are:

1) Will I have EGT problems in the mountains pulling the load with the 80hp SC chip in the NVK3 PCM?

2) Will I get any static in TX, NM or CO about the Texas Farm Tags on the trailer?

When I moved back up here from Texas I had farm tags on both my truck and trailer before I got CO tags again. They never gave me a second look. As for the EGT's you should be OK just keep an eye on your gauges.
