PDR HX40 ?

will this be a good turbo for a 97 2500 5 speed with gov spring mod and a #0 plate, 4 in strait exhaust, or should i go with a 35/40 hybrid? please let me know thanks

A 40 can be kind of laggy. It won't be real
bad since you're driving a stick. A PDR 35/16
or the equivalent of, would probably do you
just fine, unless there's more mods than whet
you've said. On the 40's the shafts are known
to snap. Don't let it bark, or Snap!!!!!!!!!

I have had my PDR HX40 for about 4 years. With the mods in my signature I have crazy high egt's. And on the dyno I can smack down a blistering 394 hp with a pegged egt gauge. :rolleyes: Towing is difficult, I have to barely touch the fuel pedal or my egt's will be throught the roof.

High Tech Turbo (htturbo.com). Get a good hybrid with either a 14 or 16 housing. That's the route I'm taking.
