my in truck middle u-joint job

So, I did successfully replace the middle u-joint in truck. It really wasn't that hard once I got the right set up. The special u-joint tool I bought didn't fit, the yokes were just slightly too big. The lysle pneumatic u-joint tool did nothing but mar the yokes. and my trusty ball joint press had an opening on the receiving end that was so close to the size of the caps it was almost impossible to align. So at some point after being really frustrated with the ball joint press ( which barely fits) I realized that the lysle u-joint tool would make the perfect receiving cup for the caps if I cut the tail off, heck it even has an aligning tab. So I cut off the tail with my wheel and now I have a perfect receiver cup, even make out of truck u-joint replacement easier because it's so easy to align. some pics.....

and here's what the middle u-joint looked like after removal, no bearings in one cap plus broke cap.
