Just to add another pointless question, who's 12v has to most miles on it, what parts have been replaced?

I had a 92 w250 before the 02. Kept it for 263,000 miles. Jetlag lost 5th gear at about 195k. Swaped in a NV4500, that was much nicer. That truck had a hard life, but with good maintenance, never really had many problems compared to any of the other company trucks we have (all Fords).

212k on my '95 and feel like it's just getting broken in. Besides modifications the only engine work besides regular maintenance has been replacing the rubber fuel hoses, starter contacts and water pump.

I have a 97 extended cab 3500 with a 10' flatbed on it with 669,413 miles on it. I'm leased to a trucking company in South Tx and bought the truck in May 1998 & have been running steady ever since

Man reading so of these numbers just reinforces my choice to go with a Cummins this time around... Mine is a young'n at 184K on the ticker.

What I know so far is nothing was done previous to her until I got involved. Once I brought her home she got the head rebuilt (leaking Head Gasket and valve seats cracked from heat). Then I had to have a SBC replaced (under warranty). But other than that the 2 PO's said nothing but bolt on stuff on the outside and HP mods were done.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I got a good one...

Mine just turned over 251000 this week. I thought I'd treat it right so I put a 215 pump in it a couple of weeks ago and set the timing at 19.5. Talk about sticking a hot wire up a dogs ass, it really woke it up. Now to control the almost 50 lb. of boost the 35-40 is making!I'm putting studs in it this weekend to try and hold the stock gasket as long as I can.
