You're not missing much lol. I only have broadcast channels as well and download stuff that I want to watch.
I'll post an update later tonight on the truck situation.

Pics under the chassis. Living in Michigan all my life, this is hands down the cleanest vehicle I've ever owned.

I think I'm closer to bleeding the lines, but the batteries are so ****** and can't mess with getting new batteries for it til after closing on house this weekend..

Hi everyone. It's been forever, but owning a house has finally calmed down. Picked up a 98 mustang GT in the meantime and sort of modded that out quite a bit...

Anyways, finally got the diesel started. As mentioned previously, replaced all of the injection system and upgraded to electric fuel pump.
I have the timing advanced slighty from the visible mark on the gear cover. I haven't warmed the engine up yet but when cold it has a clack to it (like a power stroke) and when I get on it, it blows black smoke and sounds like it's backfiring?
Going to retard the timing a bit and see how it sounds. I know it's not really possible to time it well when it's cold, but she starts instantly everytime.
Here's a video of it running:
https://youtu.be/3GvEcNL5JiY
Any tips on where I should set the timing? I don't have any timing equipment. Thanks

More information please... what you said is quite vague. Do you have part numbers, a link to a page with more info? I've only found outdated information on this.
