Lookin at a truck

I'm looking at a 2004 3500 Dodge ram Quad Cab Long Bed Cummins single RW 4X4 6speed with around 93000 or 98000mil on it and thier are asking $21,000 for it is that a good deal and what kina mpg will I prolly get?

Elliott, I agree with Scott. My new ride is an '03 RAM 2500 4x4, but with the four speed auto. Love this truck. It gets about 20-22 mpg on the highway according to my manual calculation. About 15-16 city. Lots of room, rides like a Caddy (or better) and the wife likes it better than her Sonata.

As to price?? I've seen the dollar spread over a wide range. As long as it's worth it to you and you really want the truck, go for it.

Glad you like your rig. I love mine. Just about to turn 99K and it is still doing really well. Can't ask for anymore out of it. Scotty

Is it a 2004 or 2004.5? Look at the valve cover to see if it is 305HP or 325HP.

I got 4.10s and 6spd in a 2004.5...if you drive sensibly, you can routinely get 20mpg (but this means driving 60mph, not 75mph).
