My high idle is not working when I turn on the truck. Someone on here told me to clean the Water Temp pickup because the fast idle solenoid works when I use a jumper wire. Where is the Water Temp sender?

Thanks in advance!

P.S. What should I clean it with?

that sender is actually just a switch that will make when the water temp gets to be I think... 112 degrees. The one that runs the dash gauge is on the drivers side, and the one that runs the overtemp (which again is a switch - 245 degrees) is located on the drivers side head.

The one that controls the fast idle is down in a low spot between the alternator and the upper radiator hose. The engine has 3 water temp sensors/switches all together.
