Leaking Hard line?

on my 84 (bone stock 6.9) the #2 injector line started leaking at the IP...I have tightened it, pulled, cleaned (both IP and the line) etc all to no avail. I dont have any history on the injectors on this one, so my 2 questions are:
1. what are the odds of a metal line actually leaking (consistant drip from around the nut).
2. Could a badd injector cause this (it runs a little rough, and it inceases with rpm).

The line could have a hairline crack. Look right around the bulb or flare in the line. If you are missing any line clamps, that's probably whats wrong.

Sounds like you need a hard line. Once they start to leak all you can do is replace them.

Someone on here a few years ago let me in on a trick that has worked ever since for me.

This is if it's cracked right at the flare, and you're prepared to bust it off completely.

Go to the plumbing store and get a ferrule off a compression fitting, I don't remember the size, but one will fit just perfectly. Put it on, tighten it up. Been on there for a few years now!

Make sure your clamps are on! That's what caused mine to break.
