plan on obtaining a 2008 chev xpress commercial cutaway van 139" wb c6y srw with the 6.6 duramax turbo diesel engine with a 9600lb gvw for expediting purposes. payload around 3000 lbs. is this to much engine and anyone out there with one of these vans with this engine?

Am I to understand you are going to use this for an expedition vehicle? What is c6y? Is it 4x4? I don't personally have one...I have an 06 Silverado. I don't think you can go wrong with that combo. I considered a van/Duramx combo when our business was much better. That's a dream of the past at this point though. Remember the vans are detuned compared to the trucks so I don't think it will be "overpowered" if that is your concern.
