JMHO, If you cant afford gauges then you cant afford to mod your truck. At the very least you need a Pyro, boost is nice to know but pyro is a must have if you are adding fuel. You can have a pyro for about 100 bux or so.

Holy crap,,,A plate and a set of 370's and
that thing'll be cooked in no time. ;Really
If you think the gauges are pricey?
Wait 'til you get the bill for the new motor. :rotflmao

I don't know what your truck is worth,
but a set of gauges and a pod is $250ish.
Think of them as cheap insurance.

Hey Matt, there's very little info in your profile.
Are you a young fellow, and this is your first diesel?
The reason I'm asking is because there may be some
other things that need to be addressed before you
start pouring the coal to your truck. I'd hate to be
reading a thread later this spring about how some-
thing catastrophic happened to your truck. I'd
like to be able to offer the correct info and advice.

None of us want to read a thread that starts with,
" I blew my f#&^ing truck up last night, what now? "

Cheers man, and Merry Christmas. :)

has anyone ever put a small filter on the front of the turbo? it seems like it would make the turbo louder.:D has anyone tried this??

Your filter looks like the turbo is trying to eat it. Go with the big paper filter you can get them at any big rig parts outlet. I have one on my cummins and 460 motorhome max lobuck flow.
