Injector Swap

I recently stripped one of my U Haul injectors. I took it out and replaced it with an old one. I got to thinking though.....would I be able to take the guts out and swap them into another injector body, or would it need to be set up again?

Oh, and if not, does anybody have a spare U Haul injector to sell?

I am no expert by any means...but I would not do it without pop testing the uhaul first, then set the other one to match.

Sorry you found out the hard line nut is harder material than the injector body threads. What you can do is use a triangle smooth cut file and straighten up the damaged threads. The thread the hard line nut easily on it ... I have done this before a few times....

Thanks guys for the replies! I figured it would need to be set up again since it was a different body.....I was just trying to be hopeful!

Icanfixall, thank you for the advice.....unfortunately, the threads are likely beyond repair! I checked them out, and they are almost completely ripped out of one side!
