In need of intake hat

Okay...... tax return check is around the corner here.... I need to fix this truck of mine up...... I know some of ya'll have made intake hats for your IDI's with powerchoke intercoolers..... IS there anyone out there willing to make me one? I'm happy to pay.... just figured I'd ask.... I reckon I'd need one with a 3" outlet so I can hook this intercooler up properly......

russ the dirty old man made them. Propane fumagator hat and the 6.0 elbow welded together.

Hypermax will sell you one. I know they are proud of them though.

I just bought a Hypermax hat from a guy on here. It's made to have a regular rubber/silicone coupling attach to it, so I can make it work.

Could someone post a pic of what the hypermax intercooler hat looks like?

Im tossing around the idea of having a custom 3" inlet hat made for my brown truck, but if hypermax sells a decent looking free flowing design then maybe I'll just go with that.

That is the regular hat for a pulse turbo, they have another one for the IC I believe.

Hmmm russ.... the one you have is closest to what I would need I reckon..... Someone else on here a while back when there ws much talk of intercoolers had a hat they made with a 45* angle or so off of the flat part..... Whatever I could get would work.... those hypermaxx ones look complicated with abunch of ports? I dunno.... I would need one with a 3" inlet..... I just need to get this sorted out, actually today I am going out there an unhookin my intercooler till I can get this fixed........

get with ottoparts if you want to do this, he can get the elbow. i will get the hat to mod
,40 for labor and machining,plus the hat.
