Well, today is the day my project starts. Its going to be a slow process. With the extensive cab rust i felt its time to strip it down and swap some parts.

But as with any resurrection there has to be destruction. I will post pics later tonight..

The big picture plan is:

Swap the cab with a cleaner one.
convert to an 80-86 front clip
replace doors
major sound deadener inside the cab
new stereo
D60 swap (possible RSK w/ SD springs)
new injectors
new glow plugs
fix the fuel system (rear tank leaks and neither sender reads)
fix the fan clutch
clean up my coolant filter setup
build a flatbed (maybe incorporate some sq tube stacks into the cab guard but not sure on that one yet. not a huge fan of stacks but dieselcrawler's setup was pretty cool lookin)
new marker lights
add some belly boxes and move the batteries into one. maybe swap to group 31's
swap to the 4 post mirrors
new shocks
swap rear to 4.10 rear to match front 60(when i find one)

and all done before the 2012 Rally. the big driving factor here will be budget so it may be a bit slow going lol

thats all i got...corey and jared got a few more.

today was a good day. got a late start (due to typical BS'ing hahaha) but no one killed themselves to get it done. nice even pace and by the end of the day a couple of torch burns and some bloody knuckles later the body is completely off my truck.

I cant thank DieselCrawler and Jred enough for coming up and giving me a hand today.

midnight....i will sell it once i got a 4.10 rear to go into the back and the d60 under the front. im sure i will be posting up when im ready to offload it.

I will have to load my pics then, we did pretty good. It was to dark to take the pic but the body is off and the rolling frame is beside it. Was a good time with some great hospitality, was cool to see Jasons machine in action were the magic happens on the parts he makes.

Got the truck off to a good start.
