Wouldn't a H pipe cause more heat via turbulence?

I would almost say plumb them individually. 1 turbo per bank, but I guess since the firing order doesn't bounce from side to side each time that it could cause some lag or balance issues. I like the U pipe idea with the smaller restrictor pipe between the 2 intakes.

Or put the X pipe between and towards the rear or the intakes, 180* bends around the back, over the valve covers and straight forward into the turbos. Effectively creates a 180* manifold and balances both banks, but would require more initial work and more work to remove if you needed to take a valve cover off. I'm assuming this is the engine that you have the fuel filter mounted on the fender with. That's the only way the 180* manifold would work, else it would hit the factory filter head.

Don't super-built truck pulling engines and the like just use log style manifolds? Seems to me like the H pattern wouldn't affect performance much, if any. Plus IMO it would look cooler.

Too bad you aren't close to me; would love to TIG some things up for you LOL LOL

messed with it today after I plumbed my brakes.
this is what I came up with.
hope my clamps come tomorrow and I can finish it.
I had to raise the "chamber to get away from the throttle linkage.
it will do fine for now

If you were to do an x pipe I would think something like this would be a good way to go.
