honestly speaking, it's all meaningless with the right transmission and rear end gearing. I have a Chevy C20 with a non-computerized 6.5 wearing most of it's factory hardware. Except for the turbo....I put on a Ford IDI spec'd Banks TE06H wastegated turbo on it with a custom welded downpipe. My '92 CC dually is a reasonably quick truck, the Chevy leaves the Ford standing still at the lights without even trying.
