A friend of mine bought a 1990 turboed 7.3, she said when she bought it it took quite a few cranks to gwt it started, after it warmed up it started fine, she didnt drive it for a couple days then called me yesterday saying the batteries were almoat dead and it wouldnt start. Turns out the batteries were shot.. Replaced batteries and it still took alot of cranking to get it to start.
When i was there i noticed where the fuel line connects to injector numer 1 it is leaking pretty good. Could this be the problem for the hard start and how would i go about fixing this. Thank you

exactly your issue.
you need a return line kit.
replace the caps under the injection lines, with new o-rings and new hoses.

And get the kit from one of the vendors on this site. The ones A-Z0ne and nape sell are junk.
