gear reduction starter

lookin into puttin a gear reduction starter on my truck. its been turning over really slow and giving me fits tryin to start when its cold but the batts and alt check out good as do all the wires. good connections and such. fuel pressure is good as well. i priced one out at napa it was a denso unit. wondering if that was a good brand or not.

autozone is where i got mine and it the only place actually that had the correct one...and it is lifetime warranty

correct one?? how will i know if its the right one? cant have the truck down its my dd right now till i find work and can buy a lil car

i might get it sent from the warehouse in the morning when i go back in. i got an interview there at napa. been lookin high and low for part time work while i am back in school. hopefully this will pan out.

every store i went to had the wrong starter they had just direct drive starters autozone is the only place that had a gear reduction starter
