Gear reduction starter, starts like a new truck

I just swapped mine this weekend too, the old direct drive was dead.
It's scary fast now.

I found the PowerMaster 9050 to be easier to install, particularly the top bolt, than the massive planetary reduction style starter. Appropriate length 3/8" drive expension. Forget which I used but either a wobble extension or a universal and was easy to tighten. IIRC reach one hand up above starter to guide/hold it and tighten with other. Piece of cake.

Thanks for the reply's everyone. I'll take another shot at it when I get some time. It's snug, but I'd like to get it a bit tighter.
