The read out in the truck of course but it gets the best mileage I have ever gotten I swear.and trust me when it says you have 21 miles left the fuel stop better not be 21.5. I wil get the numbers though cause now you have me wondering but I know it will go twice as far as my old ford on 2 tanks of fuel.
I average about 16-18 around town on both mine. If I baby it and watch the overhead on the highway, I might be able to go as high as 20mpg. It's just not how I drive... I usually have it pushed down pretty far and get around 16-17 mpg. I really don't know where these people come up with 23 or more. I can't drive like that.

04.5 With 110K Miles, 48RE. Always with an extra 300lbs of tools, junk, etc. in the bed and my 300lbs driving. I've logged every tank since I bought it 1 1/2 years ago.
My old trip to work was 13 miles. 3 miles stop and go redlights and 10 miles 75 mph interstate. My avg was 16.5 - 17mpg.
I'm now working 3 (yes, 3!) miles from home and it's all stop and go, not over 45 mph and my first tank averaged 12mpg!
Best that I have seen was 19.5 when half the miles on the tank were 65mph on the hiway.
BUT! If I quote the overhead I get 21.5-22mpg!
Driving what??!!
you beat me on that one i got mine to 98.8 down hill out of gear idlingYou must be registered for see images attach
