Yesterday pulled in the driveway and foam started dripping out of my overflow tube out of the radiator?? Any ideas why this is happening?

I'd suspect a blown head gasket. Combustion gases leaking into the coolant and aerating it.

Doesn't do it all the time though. Just went out checked coolant level, none in radiator that I could see. Added a gallon, ran it for 5 minutes and no foam and coolant level was fine.

Might need to get it hot before it will form. Five minutes of idling won't get it hot.

Possible a bad mix of various coolants? I know several people who live like this......Here's some of this green stuff. Here's a little of the yellow stuff. Oh and here, I found some of this universal stuff. Don't worry about it...it's all the seem!
