Good looking engine. Really sharp. What did you coat the bolts with? I might have missed in in the thread.

I was planning on just nickel plating my manifolds, pipes and hot side housing to keep them from rusting if I decided to wrap them. This looks interesting though.

it says to air dry the parts after coating, but im gonna let them air dry, then bake them @ 500 for a couple of hours.
i dont want them coming off, and if they cant handle the 500* heat, i wont do the other parts.

my intake housing, intake hat, and charge pipes are getting powdercoated with a polish aluminum finish.
should be done today!

I thought you had flanges made to replace the factory manifolds.

not for this engine.
this engine is staying "stockish" LOL
well as stock as this gets!
i have SS flanges and T4 flanges for my hotrod build that i want to twin turbo.
but i have a PSD project coming up next, so thats on the back burner.....

Oil pump is in and greased
Rear main seal is installed
Pan is installed.
Went to paint a exhaust manifold tonight, but it was too cold and
all the good stuff was at the bottom of the can
Tomorrow I'll heat it up, mix it and paint.
Then bake

no A/C? I used a vacuum pump of the early 7.3 PSD they look much nicer. I also made new lines and used different fittings to get rid of the olive type fittings. I think it looks better and doesn't leak. the motor looks good. ;Sweet
