took me about an hour and a half.
but i was replacing my IP too.
turbo wouldnt come out with the injector lines in place.
unless you lifted the cab a bit.
next time i have the engine out, im modifying the cowl to make this super easy.
for an OEM 093 like mine, its only 7 bolts, 2 nuts, an oil line, a vband clamp, and 3 more bolts for a down pipe exit to exhaust flange i installed
the hardest part is maneuvering the downpipe & up pipe casting through the cab and engine

Did you lift it out with the Y up pipe connected?

nope. disconnected everything.
left the pedestal on the turbo, because ive not broken those bolts loose.
the Y pipe cast is just a slip joint to the turbo up pipe casting...

4 bolts and 2 nuts to get the exhaust off the up pipes, and for me, 3 bolts and a vband clamp for the down pipe.
i have a modified header flange connecting my DP to the rest of my exhaust

niiiiice ;Sweet haha. I managed to pull my 093 setup with everything in tact and have been looking forward to try and drop it on without separating the up pipe joint. I did get the 4 bolts off on the up pipe to turbine housing, so I'm thinking i can put the up pipe up from the bottom.

Well ive decided to remove the turbo which looks straight forward but those up pipe bolts look real fun. I have them soaking in pb but whats the best way to break those loose? There is very limited room and I dont want to strip them.

i used a 17mm? with a swivel and long extentions of the 1/2" variety for the top pass side bolt,
deleted the swivel for the other on the pass side, and the rest came out with shorter extentions.
i used an impact. w/ a 6 point deep drive socket.
install with anti sieze
since youre replacing injectors, pull the IP, but mark it before you do, so you can get the same timing.
makes it nice when everything is out of your way.

again, this was a 093 OEM turbo

yup, thats because they been expanded and contracted due to exhaust temps.
i took mine off via, the pedestal. 2 bolts holding it to the manifold on the back side.
those bolts are a MFr!

If I do it that way the turbo and up pipe will all come off as one?

it should slide right out.
it makes the job easier IMO to pull the Y pipe and cross over pipe out first.
its just a slip fit for the up pipe to the turbo

I had soaked my bolts for the up pipe to the turbo with kroil, I was afraid they were going to break off and was going to get them cherry red hot with the torch before I tried to break them loose. I figured I would give them a shot without the torch and they all came right off, no problems.
