Yes their is such a thing in IDI's but it's not stock. Heck there is a 6 door extended cab 8 foot bed 4x4 Lifted F250 factory turbo Running around this little hick town that I call home.

Anything is possible if you put your mind, err wallet, to it.

A good friend had a 97 4 door short box 'stroke F250. You could also get a F350 pre 86 and chances are it'll have TTB under the front. They didn't get a 60 unless it had the "snow fighter" package.

Isn't the snow fighter pkg a dodge thing? I have heard of pre 85.5 F350s having a D60 but never actually seen one

Nope ferd trucks in the late 70's got the snow fighter package. Hence the F250 x cabs with 60's front and rear instead of a standard HP 44 up front. That carried into the early 80's as well.

A few years ago I almost bought a 97 PSD F250 crew cab. I liked the four doors and short bed, but I couldn't talk myself into another TTB truck with an auto. I don't think any of the crew cab short beds in 96 or 97 had an optional 5 speed

On a side note I talked to a hillbilly camped near us over the weekend that had a 78 F250 (snow fighter) with a factory front dana 60 and a 4 speed. Tough trucks those were

Yes, you could of gotten a crew cab short bed F250 in 96-97 with 5 speed and diesel. But as fas as i can tell the super cab short bed 96-97 F250 diesels ONLY came with a 5 speed. NO auto

You could get an extra cab shortbed with a diesel and auto.Had one for a work truck.It was a 96.Ford didnt use a 60 in the front of anything from 80-85.5,at least nothing that I have seen or heard of.
