As to the holes....there are pins on the back of the emblems....these pins obviously go into the "alignment holes" so they go on nice and straight!
Yes, but for some reason there was also a really large hole that served no purpose. I pulled some emblems off a 95 F-150 and had 2 alignment holes and a 3rd hole about the size of a quarter.
