i am thinking of buying some power adders for my truck i would like to get some feedback on the things i am looking at.

1st mopak 5" exhaust no muf
2nd afe stage 2 pro guard 7 air filter
3rd edge juice with attitude



2001 psd 4x4 ext cab 6spd all stock 90k


any info would be helpful as i am new to the diesel pickup world

Never heard of a mopak exhaust before. 5" is big, more than is needed but they do look and sound cool.

AFE is good, they are expensive but good. You can make your own if you are into that kind of thing or you can buy another brand for less than the AFE, but as mentioned, the AFE is good/

Edge Juice/Att is a decent choice also, you could look into DP-tuner, they can also set you up with a nice package.

Just out of curiosity, what drove you to those three choices?

5" exhaust is nice but an over kill
save your money on the afe and do a diy intake.
edge is good, but for a few more $$ get chip from DP or tony wildman

and start saving for a clutch, stock doesnt hold much more than stock

to mike: ihave a friend who has a 02 cummins with this setup and it works very well.

i am interested in the diy air intake do you have any pics. also i have seen pics of the factory ford aic controler do you have any info on this.

DIY intake.

And as far as the AIC, if you go with a custom chip from twildman or DPtuner they can give you a high idle program in addition to the performance and econo tunes they can provide.
